1:15PM - 2:45PMSupply Chain Decarbonization:
A Canadian overview and panel discussion focusing on sustainable transportation, optimized logistics, and packaging design
As the pressure to become more fuel-efficient and reduce emissions intensifies, policy makers and businesses must start to examine carbon emissions along their entire supply chain. The strategic analysis of end-to-end supply chain, encompassing all aspects of the total product life cycle from raw materials to product use and disposal, will enable companies to identify areas for emission- and cost- reductions. Accenture will launch and present a Canadian study that provides a roadmap on optimal ways to decarbonize supply chains. Our expert panel will then discuss how best to capitalize on transportation "modal shifts," improved logistics and innovative packaging solutions - three focus areas that represent significant opportunities for emission reductions with high levels of feasibility.
